| dc.description.abstract | Embrio Transfer (TE) merupakan salah satu metode bioteknologi reproduksi yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas genetik ternak. Tujuan laporan proyek akhir untuk mengevaluasi persentase tingkat kebuntingan (PR) yang dihasilkan dengan metode TE beku dan segar pada resipien sapi Friesian Holstein (FH) selama satu tahun di Balai Embrio Ternak. Kegiatan ini menggunakan 50 ekor resipien FH yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 38 ekor resipien untuk kelompok metode TE beku dan 12 ekor resipien untuk metode TE segar. Persiapan metode TE didahului dengan sinkronisasi estrus dengan injeksi PGF2a dosis ganda dengan dosis per satu kali injeksi 5mg/ml pada hari ke-0 dan hari ke-11. Tujuh hari setelah injeksi PGF2a kedua TE dilakukan. Sembilan kebuntingan diperoleh dari 38 transfer embrio yang dilakukan dengan metode beku dengan PR 23,6%. Empat kebuntingan diperoleh dari 12 transfer embrio yang dilakukan dengan metode segar dengan PR 33,3%. Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara TE beku dan TE segar terhadap keberhasilan kebuntingan resipien FH setelah dilakukan uji Chi Square (P>0,05). | - |
| dc.description.sponsorship | Embryo Transfer (ET) is a method of the reproductive biotechnologies that can be useful to improve the quality of the cattle’s genetic. The purpose of the final project report is to evaluate the percentage of pregnancy rate (PR) that produced by frozen and fresh ET methods in Friesian Holstein (FH) recipients within one year at Balai Embrio Ternak. This study used 50 FH resipients that are devided into two groups, 38 resipients for frozen ET method group and 12 resipients for fresh ET method group. The preparation of the ET method is preceded by an estrous syncronization by double doses of PGF2a injection with a dose per one injection of 5mg / ml on day 0 and day 11. Seven days after the second PGF2a injection ET was conducted. Nine pregnancies were obtained from 38 embryo transfers performed with the frozen method with a 23.6% PR obtained. Four pregnancies were obtained from 12 embryo transfers performed with the fresh method with a 33.3% PR obtained. There is no significant difference between the frozen ET and the fresh ET on the pregnancy success of FH recipients after Chi Square testing (P>0.05). | - |
