dc.description.abstractLumpur tinja merupakan limbah organik yang berasal dari proses dekomposisi kotoran manusia yang terdapat pada tangki septik. Selain lumpur tinja, salah satu limbah industri yang kurang dimanfaatkan adalah serbuk kayu. Kedua jenis limbah tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan menjadi kompos organik yang bermanfaat bagi tanaman. Tanaman yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.). Penelitian terhadap tanaman cabai rawit (Capsicum frutescens L.) dilakukan dengan mengamati tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, umur tanaman berbunga dan kualitas buah yang dihasilkan. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 60 hari setelah tanam (HST). Data pengamatan yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisis dengan SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciens) dan selanjutnya dilakukan uji lanjutan dengan Uji Post Hoc. Kompos tinja memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman cabai rawit dibandingkan dengan kompos serbuk kayu. Perlakuan paling signifikan memberikan pengaruh terhadap tinggi tanaman cabai rawit diberikan oleh kompos tinja pada pengulangan 2, perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap jumlah daun yaitu pada perlakuan kompos serbuk kayu 1 dan perlakuan yang memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas buah yaitu kompos tinja 3.-
dc.description.abstractFecal sludge is organic waste that comes from the decomposition process of human waste in septic tanks. Apart from fecal sludge, one of the industrial wastes that is underutilized is wood dust. Both types of waste can be used to make organic compost which is beneficial for plants. The plant used in this research is cayenne pepper (Capsicum frutescens L.). Research on cayenne pepper plants (Capsicum frutescens L.) is carried out by observing plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering plants and the quality of the fruit produced. Observations were made 60 days after planting (DAT). The resulting observation data was then analyzed using SPSS (Statistical Package of the Social Sciens) and then a follow-up test was carried out with the Post Hoc Test. Fecal compost has a positive influence on the growth of cayenne pepper plants compared to sawdust compost. The most significant treatment that had an influence on the height of cayenne pepper plants was given by feces compost in repetition 2, the treatment that had an influence on the number of leaves was sawdust compost treatment 1 and the treatment that had a significant influence on fruit quality was feces compost 3.-
