Abstract: Kualitas merupakan salah satu indikator krusial bagi suatu Perusahaandalam menghadapi persaingan industri yang sangat kompetitif. Kualitas merupakan suatu standar yang digunakan dalam menilai tingkat keunggulan suatu produk. Sedangkan, pengendalian kualitas merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk memastikan produk tetap memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditetapkan. PT Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk memiliki permasalahan reject produk pada kemasan primer foil produk “A” dalam proses sampling sebesar 47%. Reject pada kemasan produk dapat mengakibatkan pengurangan nilai jual. Sehingga dibutuhkan Langkah preventif dalam mencegah reject tersebut. Metode yang diterapkan antara lain Six Sigma dengan siklus DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Kemudian terdapat quality tools yang digunakan mencakup diagram pareto dan 5 Whys. Berdasarkan data reject kemasan primer foil didapatkan nilai sigma sebesar 2 atau berada pada sigma kondisi 2 dengan kemungkinan kerusakan sebesar 326.200 untuk sejuta kali proses produksi.
Quality is a crucial indicator for a company to be able to compete in a very competitive industry. Quality is a standard used to assess the level of excellence of a product. Meanwhile, quality control is carried out to maintain product quality by standards. PT Darya Varia Laboratoria Tbk has a product reject problem in the primary foil packaging of product "A" in the sampling process of 47%. Rejection of product packaging can result in a reduction in sales value. So, preventive steps are needed to prevent these rejections. The method used is Six Sigma with the DMAIC cycle (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Then quality tools are used, including the Pareto diagram and 5 Whys. Based on primary foil packaging reject data, the sigma value was 2 or was at sigma condition 2 with a probability of damage of 326,200 for a million production processes.
