This study aimed to analyse the effect of giving a combination of Moringa oleifera L. extract and Effective microorganisms-4 in drinking water on the physical quality of quail eggs. This study used 150 female quails aged 5 weeks placed in colony cages with a complete randomized design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 5 replicates. P0: 65 ml of drinking water without a combination of moringa extract and EM-4 bird-1 day-1, P1: 63 ml of drinking water with 2 ml of moringa extract and EM-4 bird -1 day-1, P2: 61 ml of drinking water with 4 ml of moringa extract and EM-4 bird -1 day-1. The observed variables were exterior egg quality (egg weight and egg index) and interior egg quality (weight and percentage of albumen, yolk and shell, shell thickness, yolk colour score, and haugh unit). The results of this study showed that the administration of 2 ml and 4 ml of a combination of moringa leaf extract and EM-4 in drinking water had a significant effect (P<0.05) on increasing whole egg weight, albumen weight, yolk weight, shell weight, and yolk colour score but had no significant effect (P>0.05) on egg index, albumen percentage, yolk percentage, shell percentage, shell thickness and haugh unit. Giving 2 ml and 4 ml of a combination of moringa leaf extract and EM-4 in drinking water can increase whole weight, white weight, yellow weight, shell weight, and yolk colour score but has no impact on egg index, white percentage, yellow percentage, shell percentage, shell thickness and haugh unit of quail eggs, but still within the normal range.
