Abstract: Fluid intelligence is the ability to solve problems through concept creation, inductive and deductive reasoning, and classification without prior knowledge. Previous research found that fluid intelligence correlates with sleep quality in humans. However, these studies were generally only conducted in one region, and social and demographic factors were minimally discussed. This study aims to examine the relationship between fluid intelligence and sleep quality in undergraduate students in Indonesia. Data were collected through a questionnaire completed by 411 undergraduate students across Indonesia. The Baddeley Reasoning Test (BRT) was used to measure the fluid intelligence level of the respondents, and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to measure sleep quality. Data were analyzed with R Studio software. The correlation between fluid intelligence and sleep quality was analyzed with the Spearman correlation test. This study shows that university students in Indonesia have high levels of fluid intelligence and poor sleep quality (8,59±2,85). Fluid intelligence and sleep quality do not have a significant relationship (R = -0.037, p-value = 0.45).
