Abstract: | Pantai Sayang Heulang merupakan pantai yang terletak di daerah selatan Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mempelajari pola transpor sedimen yang terjadi di sekitar pesisir pantai yang dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik oseanografi dan distribusi ukuran butiran sedimen. Peramalan gelombang laut menggunakan data angin selama 10 tahun (2012-2021). . Hasil penelitian di sekitar pantai Sayang Heulang menunjukan bahwa tinggi gelombang pecah berkisar antara 0.53 m hingga 1.65 m dengan kedalaman gelombang pecah berkisar antara 0.12 m hingga 0.38 m. Kecepatan arus menyusur pantai berkisar antara 0.01 m/s hingga 1.56 m/s dengan arah cenderung menuju arah Timur karena gelombang dominan yang datang dari arah Barat Daya. Sedimen yang berada di wilayah penelitian menunjukan fraksi sangat kasar. Volume transpor sedimen dihitung menggunakan persamaan CERC 1984 dan pemodelan MIKE 21. Hasil perhitungan empiris menunjukan volume angkutan sedimen dengan rata-rata 0.17 m3/hari, sementara hasil pemodelan menunjukan volume transpor sedimen dengan rata-rata 0.20 m3/hari. Sayang Heulang Beach is part of coast that located in Southern of West Java. This research aims to study the pattern of coastal sediment transport caused by oceanography characteristic and size distribution of sediment grains. Wave forecasting was calculated by wind speed data for 10 years (2021-2021). Based on this research, waves occurred at around Sayang Heulang Beach region was indicated that high breaking waves ranged between 0.53 m to 1.65 m and the depth of breaking waves ranged between 0.12 m to 0.38 m. Longshore current velocity was ranged between 0.01 m/s to 1.56 m/s with the current direction along the coast tend to east caused by dominant waves from southwest. Most of sediment types in research area were indicated as coarse sand. Sediment Transport is calculated by CERC Formulation and Mike 21 Modelling. Average of sediment transport volume obtained by empirical calculations is 0.17 m3/day, meanwhile MIKE21 modelling export the sediment transport average about 0.20 m3/day. |
