Abstract: Melalui program Perhutanan Sosial, pemerintah mencetuskan model pengelolaan hutan yang berbasis masyarakat.
The forestry sector is an Indonesian asset that needs to be preserved. Through the Social Forestry program, the government is creating a community-based forest management model. The implementation of social forestry carried out by forest farmer groups requires an institutional role so that forest management has a higher level of sustainability. This research examines the Cibulao Green Forest Farmer Group in Cibulao Village, Tugu Utara Village, Cisarua District, Bogor Regency which holds a permit to manage the social forestry business under the Kulin KK scheme in the state forest area managed by Perum Perhutani through coffee agroforestry activities. The number of respondents in this study were 35 members of KTH Cibulao Hijau who were selected using the census method. This research uses quantitative methods supported by qualitative data, with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and interview guides. The research results show that the high level of social sustainability in the Cibulao Green forest farmer group does not completely depend on the institutional role that exists in the Cibulao Green forest farmer group.
