Abstract: Peningkatan produksi susu sapi FH dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan kualitas pakan, salah satunya dengan pemberian suplemen pakan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh tambahan pakan daun katuk depolarisasi terhadap konsumsi pakan, produksi susu, dan kualitas susu pada sapi FH periode laktasi kedua. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga ekor sapi FH dengan periode laktasi kedua yang dibagi menjadi tiga perlakuan yaitu perlakuan kontrol (P0) diberi pakan komplit GGL, perlakuan satu (P1) diberi pakan komplit GGL yang ditambahkan 100 g/ekor/hari bubuk katuk depolarisasi, dan perlakuan dua (P2) diberi pakan komplit GGL yang ditambahkan 100 g/ekor/hari pelet katuk depolarisasi. Peubah yang diamati adalah Temperature Humidity Index (THI), konsumsi pakan, produksi susu, dan kualitas susu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian katuk depolarisasi bentuk bubuk dan memiliki rataan konsumsi pakan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan kontrol, nilai rataan konsumsi BK pakan yang relatif sama. Perlakuan katuk depolarisasi berpotensi meningkatkan produksi susu sapi FH laktasi kedua dengan kualitas susu yang relatif lebih tinggi pada bahan kering susu, bahan kering tanpa lemak dan kadar protein.
Increasing milk production of FH cows can be done by improving feed quality, one of which is by providing feed additives. This study aims to determine the effect of additional depolarizing katuk leaf feed on feed consumption, milk production and milk quality in FH cows during the second lactation period. The cows used in this study amounted to three FH cows with the second lactation period which was divided into three treatments, namely control treatment (P0) given GGL complete feed, treatment one (P1) given GGL complete feed added 100 g / head / day depolarizing cotton powder, and treatment two (P2) given GGL complete feed added 100 g / head / day depolarizing katuk pelets. The observed modifiers were THI (Temperature Humidity Index), feed consumption, milk production and milk quality. The results showed that giving depolarizing katuk in powder and pelet forms can increase the consumption of BK feed. Depolarization katuk has to increase milk production of second lactation FH cows with relatively higher milk quality in milk dry matter, lean dry matter and protein content.
