| Abstract: | Pantai Kejawanan yang terletak di Kelurahan Pegambiran, Kecamatan Lemahwungkuk berpotensi sebagai destinasi wisata alam selain wisata budaya yang ada di Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui modal sosial masyarakat Pantai Kejawanan, Kecamatan Lemahwungkuk, Kota Cirebon dalam pengembangan ekowisata bahari dari unsur rasa percaya, jejaring sosial, norma sosial, tindakan proaktif serta kepedulian terhadap sesama dan lingkungan. Penelitian dilakukan di lokasi kelurahan dan kawasan wisata bahari Kejawanan pada bulan Agustus-September 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi lapangan, observasi partisipatif, dan studi pustaka untuk mengumpulkan data informasi yang terkait dengan kondisi umum serta kondisi ekowisata pada lokasi penelitian. Berdasarkan unsur-unsur modal sosial yang ada di masyarakat Pantai Kejawanan, disimpulkan bahwa modal sosial yang terdapat di masyarakat Pantai Kejawanan dapat dikategorikan tinggi Kejawanan Beach, which is located in Pegambiran Village, Lemahwungkuk District, has the potential to be a natural tourism destination in addition to cultural tourism in Cirebon City. This study aimed to identify the social capital of the people of Kejawanan Beach, Lemahwungkuk District, Cirebon City in the development of marine ecotourism. The elements of social capital identified in this study included trust, social networks, social norms, proactive actions and concern for others and the environment. The research was conducted at the village and the Kejawanan marine tourism area in August-September 2023. The methods used in this study include semi-structured interviews, field observations, participatory observations, and literature studies to collect data on the community’s social capital, general conditions and ecotourism conditions at the research site. Based on the elements of social capital identified within the community in Kejawanan Beach, a conclusion can be made that the community has high social capital. |
