dc.description.abstractIt is an honor for the College of Vocational Studies, Directorate of International Program, and Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development of IPB University to conduct the 28th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium. This year, the topics of the event are Population, Food, Energy, Environment, and Technosociopreneurship. Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium is an annual event that is conducted to expose young scientists to have international experiences while enriching their knowledge and widening their views through information exchanges of scientific and cultural experiences. This event is founded by three universities, i.e., Mie University Japan, Chiang Mai University Thailand, Jiangsu University China. Due to consistent participation and good achievement, IPB University was accepted as the 4th founder university in 2010. The participants of the 28th Tri-U IJSS consist of delegates from nine universities from five countries. On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank all honorable speakers, judges, moderators, and participants for their participation and contribution in making this event a success. I also would like to extend my gratitude to the steering committee who have given directions and to all the committees who have worked hard for the last months for this event. Lastly, may the various ideas, information, and insight that is shared in the 28th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium can contribute to development of science and eventually, our life.id
