This research presents empirical measurements of wireless media streaming traffic in an IEEE 802.11b wireless ad hoc network. The videos used were in MPEG-4 H.264 format with bit rates of 400 Kbps, 512 Kbps, and 1024 Kbps. The scenario of this experiment is that the first client access video streaming from the server and the second client until the tenth client will access the video streaming with 27 seconds between each clients. The parameters to be analyzed were the average delay, average packet RTP, and average packet loss. The results show that the IEEE 802.11b WLAN with video bit rate of 400 Kbps can support up to 8 clients with good media streaming quality. With 9 clients, the WLAN is overloaded, and performance degrades for all clients. Video bit rate of 512 Kbps can support up to 4 clients with good media streaming quality, and video bit rate 1024 Kbps does not meet any client with good media streaming quality based on Quality of Service (QoS).id
