Abstract: | Hoya merupakan tumbuhan epifit anggota famili Apocynaceae. Hoya
memiliki potensi pemanfaatan yang luas. Namun saat ini habitatnya semakin
berkurang, sehingga memerlukan program konservasi untuk menjaga
kelestariannya di alam. Kawasan kampus IPB Dramaga memiliki keanekaragaman
spesies Hoya yag ditemukan Hoya is an epiphytic plant belonging to the Apocynaceae family. Hoya has the wide potential use. Still, its habitat is currently decreasing, so it requires a conservation program to maintain its sustainability in nature. The Dramaga IPB campus area has a high diversity of trees and ideal environmental conditions for Hoya growth, making it possible to collect primary data for Hoya conservation efforts. This study aimed to identify the diversity of Hoya species in the Dramaga IPB campus area and analyze the environmental factors that influence the presence of Hoya. The location for collecting data on diversity and ecology was determined by an exploration and purposive sampling method. The Hoya found were identified, grouped, and analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index and importance value index. Environmental factors that influence the existence of Hoya are analyzed using Principal Component Analysis. Five Hoya species grow on 13 host tree species found in the Dramaga IPB campus area. The dominant Hoya species are Hoya purpureofusca (66,20%) and Hoya carnosa (63,85%). Hoya is commonly found growing on Averrhoa carambola tree. Hoya in the Dramaga IPB campus area is included in low diversity. The environmental factors The environmental factors measured did not influence the existence of the Hoya species. |
