Tekanan Ekonomi, Manajemen Keuangan, dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga Ibu Tunggal yang Bekerja dan Tidak Bekerja

Abstract

Kesejahteraan keluarga ibu tunggal dapat terwujud apabila keluarga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dasar dan melakukan manajemen keuangan keluarga dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh karakteristik keluarga, tekanan ekonomi dan manajemen keuangan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga ibu tunggal yang bekerja dan tidak bekerja. Responden terdiri dari 80 ibu tunggal di Kecamatan Cibinong, Kabupaten Bogor yang diperoleh melalui teknik snowball sampling dengan proporsi 40 orang bekerja dan 40 orang lainnya tidak bekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tekanan ekonomi objektif ibu tunggal tidak bekerja dan tekanan ekonomi subjektif pada kedua kelompok ibu tunggal terkategori sedang. Lebih dari dua per tiga ibu tunggal bekerja dan tidak bekerja memiliki manajemen keuangan yang terkategori rendah. Hasil uji beda menunjukkan tekanan ekonomi objektif ibu tunggal tidak bekerja lebih tinggi dibandingkan ibu tunggal bekerja, sebaliknya manajemen keuangan ibu tunggal yang bekerja lebih tinggi dibandingkan ibu tunggal yang tidak bekerja. Kesejahteraan keluarga antar dua kelompok ibu tunggal tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan. Berdasarkan uji regresi, pada ibu yang tidak bekerja, semakin bertambah usia, semakin rendah usia perceraian, dan semakin rendah tekanan ekonomi objektif akan mempengaruhi tingginya kesejahteraan objektif. Semakin tinggi usia ibu tunggal, pendapatan per kapita, tekanan ekonomi objektif, dan manajemen keuangan akan mempengaruhi tingginya kesejahteraan subjektif.

Single mothers' family well-being can be realized if the family can meet basic needs and carry out good family financial management. This study aims to analyze the influence of family characteristics, economic pressure, and financial management on the family well-being of working and non-working single mothers. Respondents consisted of 80 single mothers in Cibinong Sub-district obtained through snowball sampling technique, with the proportion of 40 working and 40 not working. The results showed that the objective economic pressure of non-working single mothers and the subjective economic pressure of both groups of single mothers were categorized as moderate. More than two-thirds of working and non-working single mothers have low financial management. The results of the t-test showed that the objective economic pressure of non-working single mothers was higher than that of working single mothers, while the financial management of working single mothers was higher than that of non-working single mothers. There was no significant difference in family well-being between the two groups of single mothers. Based on the regression test, in non-working mothers, the higher the age, the lower the age of divorce, and the lower the objective economic pressure will affect of their high objective well-being. The higher the age of single mothers, per capita income, objective economic pressure, and financial management will affect of their high subjective well-being.
