The rapid development of MSME womenpreneurs in Indonesia has the potential to create national economic development. Even so, the rapid development of womenpreneurs still faces various obstacles. Therefore, this study aims to identify and analyze the various obstacles faced by womenpreneur MSMEs in Indonesia and their role in promoting national economic development. This study used a systematic literature review method with 25 samples of scientific journal obtained from the ProQuest, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases with the PRISMA 2020 diagram to filter articles and the data were analyzed thematically. The results of the study show that limited access to credit and low self-competence are the most common obstacles faced by MSMEs womenpreneurs in Indonesia. The results of the study also show that MSME womenpreneurs potentially contribute to national economic development through reducing poverty and unemployment which have implications for increasing social welfare.
