Abstract: Modern Rice Milling Plant (MRMP) dicirikan oleh modernitas yang tinggi yang memiliki efisiensi proses produksi tinggi, mutu produk baik, rendemen tinggi, dan efisiensi biaya produksi optimal untuk menghasilkan daya saing yang tinggi. Tingkat persaingan MRMP BULOG Kendal yang cukup tinggi menyebabkan MRMP BULOG Kendal harus memiliki strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk mampu bersaing dengan para pesaingnya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi MRMP BULOG Kendal terkait persebaran pasar terjadi karena penjualannya biasanya didominasi oleh distributor besar terutama yang berada di kota-kota terdekat karena biaya transportasi. Sehingga masalah pendistribusian dapat diselesaikan dengan menentukan pangsa pasar yang dimiliki oleh MRMP BULOG Kendal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi MRMP BULOG Kendal, merumuskan alternatif strategi pemasaran yang dapat diterapkan oleh MRMP BULOG Kendal, menentukan prioritas alternatif strategi pemasaran MRMP BULOG Kendal. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah matriks IFE, matriks EFE, matriks SWOT, dan matriks QSPM. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa MRMP BULOG Kendal memiliki tujuh kekuatan dan empat kelemahan serta enam peluang dan empat ancaman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis matriks SWOT menghasilkan enam alternatif strategi pemasaran dengan prioritas strategi yaitu melakukan kerjasama dengan pihak jasa antar agar mempermudah konsumen dalam pembelian.
The Modern Rice Milling Plant (MRMP) is characterized by high modernity which has high production process efficiency, good product quality, high yields, and optimal production cost efficiency to produce high competitiveness. The level of competition for MRMP BULOG Kendal is quite high, causing the MRMP BULOG Kendal to have the right marketing strategy to be able to compete with its competitors. The problem faced by the MRMP BULOG Kendal related to market distribution occurs because the sales are usually played by large distributors, especially those in the nearest cities due to transportation costs. So that distribution problems can be solved by determining the market share owned by MRMP BULOG Kendal. The purpose of this study was to identify the internal and external factors that influence the MRMP BULOG Kendal, formulate alternative marketing strategies that can be implemented by the MRMP BULOG Kendal, determine the priority of alternative marketing strategies for the MRMP BULOG Kendal. The tools used in this study are the IFE matrix, EFE matrix, SWOT matrix, and QSPM matrix. The results of the analysis show that the MRMP BULOG Kendal has seven strengths and four weaknesses as well as six opportunities and four threats. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis, it produces six alternative marketing strategies with strategic priorities, namely collaborating with delivery services to make it easier for consumers to purchase.
