Jakarta Bay is surrounded by a national strategic area that is full of activity. Anthropogenic activities have the potential to change land use. The existence of a river flow has the potential to bring nutrient inputs into the waters and cause pollution. This study explains the interconnectedness between land use and pollution index conditions in Jakarta Bay. This study used research data from 23 observation stations in Jakarta Bay in 2019 and 2022. Analysis was carried out on 9 water quality parameters, such as temperature, pH, DO, BOD5, nitrate, phosphate, turbidity, TSS, and total coliform. The land use around Jakarta Bay has not changed significantly. This change also does not significantly affect changes in the value of each pollution index parameter. The pollution index in Jakarta Bay in 2019 and 2022 is generally lightly polluted. The condition of the pollution index is not significantly affected by land use around Jakarta Bay, but is also influenced by anthropogenic activities in the upland area.
