sedangkan krendet tradisional sebesar 10,98 kg. Konstruksi bagian atas krendet
31,79%. Krendet bertingkat memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah ekor
dan berat hasil tangkapan. Produktivitas krendet bertingkat lebih besar
dibandingkan tradisional, yaitu masing-masing sebesar 0,82 kg/trip dan 0,61
kg/trip dengan kenaikan persentase rata-rata produksi krendet bertingkat sebesar
tradisional. Generally, krendet is used to catch crustaceans. This is thought to lead to increased mortality of crustaceans caught as a result of being preyed upon by predators. The solution that can be done is to design a krendet trap with multilevel construction with a protective wall. The hypothesis in this study was that the use of multilevel krendet traps would increase crustacean catches. This study aims to design and build stratified krendet traps as a treatment, compare the composition of crustacean catches in research krendet traps, determine the effect of using multilevel krendets on crustacean catches, and determine the productivity and krendet fisherman income during research. This research is held at Palabuhanratu Bay by experimental fishing for 18 trips using 5 krendet units for each treatment (multilevel and traditional). The result showed that multilevel krendet get 14.70 kg of crustaceans, while the traditional get 10.98 kg. The construction of the top krendet trap with multilevel construction influences increasing catches by 31.79%. The multilevel krendet had a significant effect on the number of tails and the weight of the catch. The productivity of the multilevel krendet was greater than that of the traditional, namely 0.82 kg/trip and 0.61 kg/trip with an average increase in the percentage of multilevel krendet production by 33.86%. The same thing is found in the net income of krendet, where the income of the multilevel krendet is two times larger than traditional krendet. |
