The Indonesian bulk black tea commodity is Indonesia’s leading export commodity, which has experienced a decrease in export volume to its main destination countries, namely Malaysia, Russia, and the United State, from 2002 to 2021. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors influencing Indonesian bulk black tea exports to these main destination countries. The method of analysis used in this study is panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) with a few variables such as Indonesian bulk black tea export volume, Indonesian tea production, Indonesian bulk black tea export prices, the real exchange rate of the rupiah, GDP per capita of the main destination countries, and population size of the main destination countries. The results indicate that Indonesian bulk black tea export prices, the real exchange rate of the rupiah, and the population size of the main importeer countries have a significant effect on the export volume of Indonesian bulk black tea. The GDP per capita of the importeer countries does not show a significant effect on export volume. |
