Abstract: | Sistem free-range merupakan sistem umbaran agar ternak merasa nyaman
dan tidak stres. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kecukupan nutrisi pakan pada
sistem pemeliharaan free-range terhadap komposisi karkas ayam IPB-D1 di Sinar
Harapan Farm umur 11 minggu yang telah dipelihara selama 6 minggu. Sampel
yang digunakan yaitu 20 ekor ayam IPB-D1 (9 ekor jantan, 11 ekor betina) diambil
secara porpusive sampling dari 110 ekor. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif
menyajikan data rata-rata dan standar deviasi. Variabel yang diukur dalam
penelitian ini bobot potong, persentase karkas, persentase potongan komersial dan
persentase potongan non-karkas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bobot potong jantan
lebih besar dibandingkan betina, nilai rata-rata sebesar 900,33 g dan 869,73 g. Ratarata karkas jantan 56,44% dan betina 53,57%. Persentase non karkas jantan dan
betina dengan pemeliharaan free range 33,64% dan 35,72%. Simpulan penelitian
yaitu pemeliharaan sistem free range pada karkas dan potongan komersial ayam
IPB-D1 mengandung mineral Fe tinggi dibandingkan daging ayam broiler. The free-range system is an umbrella system so that livestock feel comfortable and not stressed. This study aimed to evaluate the adequacy of feed nutrition in the free-range rearing system on the carcass composition of 11-weekold IPB-D1 chickens at Sinar Harapan Farm that have been reared for 6 weeks. The samples used in this study were 20 IPB-D1 chickens (9 males, 11 females) taken by porpusive sampling from 110 chickens. The research data were analyzed descriptively presenting the average data and standard deviation. The variables measured in this study were slaughter weight, carcass percentage, percentage of commercial cuts and percentage of non-carcass cuts. The results showed that the slaughter weight of males was greater than females, with an average value of 900.33 g and 869.73 g, respectively. The average carcass of males was 56.44% and females 53.57%. The percentage of non-carcass males and females with free range maintenance is 33.64% and 35.72%. The conclusion of the study was that the maintenance of a free range system on carcasses and commercial cuts of IPB-D1 chickens contain high Fe minerals compared to broiler meat. |
