Analisis Peran Modal Sosial dalam Pengembangan Masyarakat dan Ekonomi Lokal (Kajian: Komunitas UMKM Pasar Mbrumbung, Desa Banggi, Kecamatan Kaliori, Kabupaten Rembang)

Abstract

Kompleksitas permasalahan sosial di masyarakat mensyaratkan pendekatan yang tepat dalam penyelesaiannya. Pengembangan masyarakat menjadi solusi permasalahan yang ada. Dukungan modal sosial menjadi faktor penting penentu keberhasilan pengembangan masyarakat sehingga akan tercipta Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal (PEL) yang merata dan berkeadilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran modal sosial dalam pengembangan masyarakat dan PEL. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen kuesioner yang didukung metode kualitatif melaluiwawancara mendalam dan observasi. Responden penelitian ini sebanyak 35 pelaku usaha UMKM di Pasar Mbrumbung Rembang yang dipilih melalui metode sensus.Teknik analisis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan uji Korelasi Rank Spearman dan Path Analysis. serta dilengkapi analisis kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara proses pengembangan masyarakat dengan proses pengembangan ekonomi lokal. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh positif modal sosial dalam menguatkan hubungan antara proses pengembangan masyarakat dengan proses pengembangan ekonomi lokal.

The complexity of social problems in society requires the right approach in solving them. Community development is a solution to existing problems. Social capital support is an important factor determining the success of community development so that an equitable and just Local Economic Development (LED) will be created. This research aims to analyze the role of social capital in the community development and LED. The research method used is a quantitative method using a questionnaire instrument supported by qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and observation. Respondents to this research were 35 MSME business actors in the Rembang Mbrumbung Market who were selected through the census method. The analysis technique of this research is descriptive quantitative using Spearman's Rank Correlation Test and Path Analysis. As well as equipped with qualitative analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the study concluded that there is a positive relationship between community development process and local economic development process. In addition, there is a positive influence of social capital in strengthening the relationship between community development process and local economic development process.
