Abstract: Umur panen dapat menentukan nilai nutrien yang terkandung pada hijauan pakan ternak. Pemanenan dengan umur yang tua akan meningkatkan produktivitas, namun nilai nutrien yang terkandung akan makin turun dan kurang optimal. Bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur panen terhadap nilai nutrisi pada tanaman sorgum. Data yang digunakan untuk mengkaji pengaruh umur panen terhadap nilai nutrisi pada tanaman sorgum (Sorghum bicolor) sebanyak 113 data dan di input pada Microsoft Excel. Data tersebut meliputi umur panen dan nilai nutrisi sorgum yang meliputi protein kasar, serat kasar, lemak kasar, abu, TDN, ADF, NDF, BETN, Ca, dan P. Kemudian data yang telah didapatkan dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistika deskriptif dan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur panen berpengaruh signifikan pada ADF (P≤1; R2=0,13), NDF (P≤1; R2=0,13), serta BETN (P≤1; R2=0,93). Kata kunci: analisis regresi, umur panen, Sorghum bicolor. Supervised by NUR ROCHMAH KUMALASARI dan LUKI ABDULLAH. Harvesting time determine the value of nutrients content in the forage. Harvesting with in old age increase biomass productivity, but the value of the nutrients contained will decrease and be less than optimal. This study was to determine the effect of harvest age on the nutritional value of sorghum plants. The data was 113 secondary data and input in Microsoft Excel. The data includes harvest age and sorghum nutritional value which includes crude protein, crude fiber, crude fat, ash, TDN, ADF, NDF, BETN, Ca and P. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis. The results showed that harvest age had a significant effect on ADF (P≤1; R2=0.13), NDF (P≤1; R2=0.13), and BETN (P≤1; R2=0.93). Keywords: harvest age, regression analysis, Sorghum bicolor L.
