DEVELOPMENT OF PURCHASE MODULE TO SUPPORT NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT BUSINESS PROCESSES AT PT SUKARAJA PANGAN UTAMA

Abstract

The project is conducted to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of PT Sukaraja Pangan Utama's new product development processes by developing a purchase module. This project aims to develop a purchase module that suits user needs and is able to increase efficiency in the purchasing process. The method used is the engineering design stage which is a method for designing and producing solutions in the form of systems, components, or processes based on user needs. The development of the purchase module has produced a system that is integrated with inventory, accounting, and contracts and has automated business processes. This automation process includes calculating vendor ratings using the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method for making the best vendor decisions. This module is proven to increase efficiency up to 3.25 times faster than manually. The main result of this project is the development and readiness to implement the purchase module. This purchase module has been successful through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and received by PT Sukaraja Pangan Utama. This module is equipped with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which provides clear guidance for users to ensure effective implementation.

Proyek ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas proses pengembangan produk baru PT Sukaraja Pangan Utama melalui pengembangan modul pembelian. Proyek ini bertujuan mengembangkan modul purchase yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna dan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses pembelian. Metode yang digunakan yaitu tahapan engineering design yang merupakan metode untuk merancang dan menghasilkan solusi berupa sistem, komponen, atau proses berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna. Pengembangan modul purchase berhasil menghasilkan sistem yang terintegrasi dengan inventory, accounting, dan contract, serta memiliki proses bisnis otomatis. Proses otomatisasi ini mencakup penghitungan pemeringkatan vendor menggunakan metode Composite Performance Index (CPI) untuk pengambilan keputusan vendor terbaik. Modul ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi hingga 3,25 kali lipat lebih cepat dibandingkan melakukan pekerjaan secara manual. Hasil utama dari proyek ini adalah pengembangan dan kesiapan implementasi modul purchase. Modul purchase ini telah berhasil melalui User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dan diterima dengan baik oleh PT Sukaraja Pangan Utama. Modul dilengkapi dengan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yang memberikan panduan yang jelas bagi pengguna untuk memastikan implementasi yang efektif.
