dc.description.abstractBioenergi merupakan salah satu sumber energi terbarukan potensial yang berasal dari produk hayati terutama biomassa. Biomassa adalah suatu sumber energi terbarukan yang dapat diperoleh dari organisme. Salah satu biomassa non pangan yaitu Non Edible Biomass (NEB) yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan bioetanol. Pengolahan NEB dari sisa proses pemisahan etanol dengan air yaitu Vinasse, mengandung sisa-sisa unsur hara mineral dan kandungan organik yang dapat mendukung pemanfaatannya sebagai pupuk organik. Melihat potensi tersebut, Vinasse dapat diupayakan menjadi alternatif pupuk organik apabila disesuaikan dengan karakteristik tanaman dan lahan pertanian di Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan selama satu masa tanam, pada fase vegetatif tanaman semusim. Serangkaian percobaan penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis efek aplikasi pupuk organik berbahan dasar limbah Vinasse serta limbah Vinasse murni beragam dosis dan pengaruhnya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pangan, tanaman palawija, serta tanaman perkebunan. Selain itu, penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh efek aplikasi terhadap sifat fisik, kimia tanah, dan kualitas tanah. Parameter sifat fisik tanah yang diamati diantaranya bobot isi, porositas, air tersedia, permeabilitas, pori drainase, dan stabilitas agregat, sedangkan sifat kimia tanah yaitu pH, kapasitas tukar kation, kejenuhan basa, C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia, Ca, Mg, K, Na, dan Al. Pengaruh aplikasi limbah Vinasse terhadap karakteristik tanah diidentifikasi dari penilaian hasil pembobotan data parameter sifat fisik dan sifat kimia tanah, yang kemudian diintegrasikan dengan perhitungan Indeks Kualitas Tanah (IKT). Limbah Vinasse yang digunakan berasal dari hasil samping produksi bioetanol dengan bahan baku sorgum. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efek aplikasi percobaan tipe 1, P4 dengan formulasi pupuk organik berbahan dasar Vinasse dan bahan hayati merupakan perlakuan yang menghasilkan nilai laju pertumbuhan terbaik pada ketiga komoditas. Selain itu, pada percobaan tipe 2, yaitu aplikasi limbah Vinasse setara 15.000 l/ha menghasilkan nilai pertumbuhan tertinggi pada padi dan kelapa sawit, sedangkan pada jagung perlakuan dengan hasil tertinggi yaitu P14 (dosis Vinasse setara 1.500 l/ha). Terdapat korelasi positif antara pertumbuhan tanaman yang optimum berasal dari daya dukung tanah yang baik.id
dc.description.abstractBioenergy is one of the potential renewable energy sources based on biological products, especially biomass. Biomass is a renewable energy source that can be obtained from organisms. One of the non-food biomass is Non Edible Biomass (NEB) which can be used to produce bioethanol. The processing of NEB from the residual ethanol separation process with water, called Vinasse, contains remnants of mineral nutrients and organic content that can support its use as an organic fertilizer. Seeing this opportunity, Vinasse can be used as an alternative organic fertilizer when it is suitable with the characteristics of plants and agricultural land in Indonesia. The research was conducted during one planting period, in the vegetative phase of annual plants. A series of research experiments were conducted to analyze the effects organic fertilizer applications of Vinasse waste-based and various doses of pure Vinasse waste and the effects on the growth of food crops, secondary crops, and plantation crops. The research also focused on the effect of application on soil physical and chemical properties and soil quality. The parameters of soil physical properties observed include bulk density, porosity, available water, permeability, pore drainage, and aggregate stability, while soil chemical properties are pH, cation exchange capacity, base saturation, C-organic, N-total, P-available, Ca, Mg, K, Na, and Al. The effect of Vinasse waste application on soil characteristics is identified from the assessment of the results of parameter data of soil physical and chemical properties, which are then integrated with the calculation of the Soil Quality Index (SQI). Vinasse waste used, came from the by-products of bioethanol production with sorghum as raw material. The results indicated that the effect of type 1 experiment application, P4 with Vinasse-based organic fertilizer formulation and biological materials was the treatment that produced the best growth rate values in the three commodities. Moreover, in experiment type 2, the application of Vinasse waste equivalent to 15.000 l ha-1 produced the highest growth values in rice and oil palm, while in corn the treatment with the highest results was P14 (Vinasse dose equivalent to 1.500 l ha-1). There is a positive correlation between optimum plant growth derived from good soil carrying capacity.id
