| Abstract: | Telur merupakan sumber protein hewani yang paling tinggi nilai biologisnya, dapat diartikan sumber protein yang mudah dicerna. Ayam arab merupakan ayam petelur unggul dengan produksi telur ayam tinggi yaitu 190-250 butir/tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis performa produksi ayam arab petelur dengan pemberian pakan mengandung ulat Hongkong (Tenebrio molitor L.) berdasarkan warna yang berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan 60 ekor ayam arab petelur gold, 60 ekor ayam arab petelur silver dengan pemberian pakan yang mengandung 4% ulat hongkong, 6 ulangan dan setiap ulangan terdapat 10 ekor ayam. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode uji-t. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pemberian pakan dengan 4% ulat hongkong menunjukkan performa ayam arab silver yang lebih baik pada parameter konsumsi pakan, hen house production (HHP), dan massa telur terhadap ayam arab gold. Parameter konversi pakan dan bobot telur memiliki nilai yang relatif sama antara ayam arab gold dan silver. Eggs are source of animal protein that has the highest biological value, which is recognized as a digestible protein source. Arabic chicken are the superior laying hens with high egg production, that is 190-250 eggs/year. This study aims to analyze the production performance of brakel kriel by giving a feed that contain the mealworm (Tenebrio molitor L.) based on different colors. This study used 60 gold arabic chicken, 60 silver arabic chicken with feed that contained 4% mealworms, 6 repetitions and each repetition had 10 chickens. The data were analyzed using the t-test method. This study resulted in feeding with 4% mealworms showed the better silver arabic chicken performance on feed consumption parameters, hen house production (HHP), and egg mass against gold brakel kriel. The feed conversion parameters and egg mass had relatively the same values between gold and silver arabic chicken. |
