| id |
| dc.description.abstract | The use of four types of rice varieties is expected to obtain the types of varieties that produce the highest productivity. Japonica rice varieties show slow growth adaptation. This research aimed to obtain the agronomic characteristics and productivity of four types of rice varieties in irrigated paddy fields. The experiment was conducted at Sawah Baru Experimental Garden, Department of Agronomy and Horticulture, IPB University from February to June 2020. The experiment was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 3 replications, so that 12 experimental units were obtained. In addition to the variety type treatment, paclobutrazol was used for each treatment twice with control concentrations (0), 5, 10, 15, and 20 ppm. The results showed that the four types of rice varieties studied had different results on several observed characters including plant height, number of tillers, panicle length, total number of grain per panicle, and number of full grain per panicle. The application of paclobutrazol (5, 10, 15, 20 ppm) to the four types of rice varieties tested did not show significant changes in 1000 grain weight and productivity. | id |
