Abstract: Mesin tanam bibit padi merupakan alat penanam dengan jumlah, kedalaman, jarak, dan kondisi penanaman yang seragam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji kinerja mesin rice transplanter sehingga dapat ditentukan kapasitas lapang untuk menentukan efisiensi lapang, efektivitas penancapan bibit melalui jari penanam, dan penggunaan biaya pada penanaman padi. Penelitian dilakukan di lahan padi dan mesin rice transplanter milik Balai Pengembangan Mekanisasi Pertanian di Cianjur, Jawa Barat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi lapang tertinggi yang dihasilkan yaitu sebesar 69,08% dengan menggunakan percepatan 2 akan tetapi tidak menghasilkan perbedaan yang signifikan dengan percepatan 1 yang menghasilkan 68,83%. Hasil tersebut dievaluasi dengan SNI 7607:2010 bahwa hasil efisiensi lapang tidak memenuhi hasil minimum dari standar nasional. Efektivitas penancapan bibit yang tertanam hanya mencapai 55% dengan kondisi lahan lumpur yang tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi mesin. Konsumsi bahan bakar yang didapat yaitu 1,409 liter/jam dan hasil analisa biaya pokok yang dihasilkan sebesar Rp 437.070,-/ha. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk referensi pengujian kinerja mesin tanam bibit padi.
A rice planting machine is a machine with a uniform of number, depth, spacing and planting conditions. This study aims to test the performance of a rice transplanter machine so that field capacity can be determined to determine field efficiency, the effectiveness of seeds planting through the finger of the planter, and the use of costs for planting rice. The research was conducted on rice fields and rice transplanter machines belong to the Agricultural Mechanization Development Center in Cianjur, West Java. The results showed that the highest field efficiency produced was 69,08% using forward speed 2 but did not produce a significant difference with forward speed 1 which produced 68,83%. These results were evaluated with SNI 7607:2010 that field efficiency results did not meet the minimum results of the national standard. The effectiveness of seedling planting only reaches 55% with mud land conditions that do not comply with machine specifications. The obtained fuel consumption is 1,409 liters/hour and the resulting basic cost analysis result is Rp. 437.070,-/ha. The results of this study can be used as a reference for testing the performance of rice seed planting machines.
