Abstract: Penerapan prinsip tata kelola yang baik merupakan salah satu pendekatan pengelolaan wisata berkelanjutan.
The application of the principles of good governance is an approach to managing tourism sustainability. The principles of good governance in the context of tourism are participation, accountability and transparency. This study aimed to analyze the implementation and the factors that influence the application of the principles in the Nglanggeran Tourism Village. The method used in this study were household survey, which was distributed to five hamlets using stratified random sampling, and semi-structured interviews with Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), village officials, and community representatives. The application of the principles was presented in a quantitative descriptive manner using thematic analysis methods. The factors for applying the principles were formulated using the triangulation method. This study showed that the three principles of good governance had been applied in Nglanggeran Village, although not maximal. There were several factors that influence the application of these principles, namely gender roles in society, distance from home to the center of tourism activities, individual skills, mechanisms for individual involvement and time availability.
