tenaga kerja. Sektor pariwisata Provinsi Jawa Barat menjadi salah satu yang terbaik
di Indonesia. Namun, berkembangnya sektor pariwisata tidak diikuti oleh
penurunan tingkat pengangguran terbuka.
Barat periode 2015 – 2021. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis
deskriptif dan data panel. Berdasarkan analisis regresi data panel, variabel jumlah
kunjungan wisatawan, jumlah hotel, jumlah restoran, jumlah obyek daya tarik
The significant potential of the tourism sector in Indonesia can absorb a large number of employments. The tourism sector in West Java province is one of the best in Indonesia. However, the growth of the tourism sector has not been accompanied by the decrease in unemployment rate. This study aims to analyze the influence of the tourism sector on employment absorption in West Java during the period of 2015 - 2021. The analytical methods used are descriptive analysis and panel data analysis. Based on the regression analysis of panel data, the number of tourist visits, the number of hotels, the number of restaurants, the number of tourist attractions, and local revenue variable have a positive and significant influence on employment absorption in West Java. The local revenue variable is a tourism-related variable that has the highest impact on employment absorption. The government can optimize the increase in local revenue as a means of developing quality accommodation and maximizing the tourism potential, thus creating more employment opportunities. |
