dc.description.abstractAsystasia gangetica (L.) merupakan gulma merugikan lahan pertanian. A. gangetica (L.) dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sayuran. Di Indonesia A. gangetica dikenal sebagai gulma dibandingkan tanaman budi daya. Gulma ini dapat dijadikan sayuran dan termasuk kedalam sayuran introduksi. A. gangetica (L.) berpotensi untuk diproduksi secara komersial karena kandungan gizi serta manfaatnya yang dimiliki. Pupuk kandang ayam merupakan pupuk organik yang digunakan oleh petani dalam budidaya tanaman sayuran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Cikabayan Bawah, Institut Pertanian Bogor, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Tujuan ialah penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa dosis pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi sayuran A. gangetica (L.). Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) satu faktor yaitu pupuk kandang ayam yang diberikan dalam 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu 0, 50, 100, 150, dan 200 g per tanaman dengan 3 ulangan. Peubah yang diamati meliputi karakter vegetatif dan hasil tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian pupuk kandang ayam tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan jumlah cabang; berpengaruh secara nyata terhadap jumlah daun 2-8 MST, bobot basah, bobot kering dan bobot layak konsumsi tanaman A. gangetica (L.) pada panen yang pertama (5 MST) dan panen yang kedua (9 MST). Dosis 50 g per tanaman memberikan hasil paling tinggi yaitu 69,96 g.id
dc.description.abstractAsystasia gangetica (L.) is a detrimental weed in agricultural fields. It can be utilized as a vegetable. In Indonesia, A. gangetica is commonly known as a weed rather than a cultivated plant. This weed can be transformed into a vegetable and categorized as an introduced vegetable. A. gangetica has the potential to be commercially produced due to its nutrition content and benefits. Chicken manure is an organic fertilizer used by farmers for cultivating vegetable crops. The research was conducted at the Cikabayan Bawah Experimental Station, Bogor Agricultural University, Bogor, West Java. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of different doses of chicken manure fertilizer on the growth and yield of A. gangetica (L.) vegetables. The study utilized a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with a single factor, i.e. the chicken manure. It was applied at five levels: 0, 50, 100, 150, and 200 g per plant, with three replications. The variables observed included vegetative characteristics and crop yield. The study's results indicated that the application of chicken manure fertilizer did not significantly affect plant height and branch number. Chicken manure fertilizer had a significant effect on the leaf number 2-8 weeks after planting (WAP), fresh weight, dry weight, and marketable shoot weight of A. gangetica in the first harvest (5 WAP) and second harvest (9 WAP). A dose of 50 g per plant gave the highest yield, namely 69.96 g.id
