Sheep are highly potential livestock to be developed in Indonesia along with the increasing demand for animal protein by the society. The quality of feed nutrition needs to be considered in sheep farming as it plays an important role in enhancing productivity and reproductive performance. One of the efforts to improve the quality of feed nutrition is fermentation, which is a biological processing technology involving the activities of microorganisms. This research aims to evaluate the nutritional content of fermented feed and examine its effects on the pregnancy rate, litter size, mortality rate and birth weight of local sheep. Samples of fermented feed were analyzed using proximate analysis, mineral analysis (calcium and phosphorus), and gross energy analysis. The assessment of the effects of employing fermented feed involves a comparison of the calculated pregnancy rate, litter size, mortality rate, and birth weight with the information ii available in the existing literature. Based on the research findings, fermented feed contained crude protein, crude fat, phosphorus and ash which were in accordance with SNI 2019. The utilization of fermented feed in the dietary regimen of local sheep resulted in significant effects, such as a pregnancy rate of 66, 7%, a litter size averaging 1.41 for each with a higher proportion of twin births 68.29%, a mortality rate of 39.65% with a higher proportion of triplet births 44.44%, and an average birth weight of 2.25 ± 0.05 kg with a higher percentage of single births 2.58 ± 0.08 kg.id
