Abstract: Experiments were conducted to determine the part of alligatorweed (Alternanthera philoxeroides) stem that are capable of producing a complete plant, the growth analysis of alligatorweed, the quantitative description of the alligatorweed, the competing ability of this weed with rice, efficacy study of certain herbicides on this weed and viability study of stem cutting of alligatorweed.
