Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh suplementasi minyak nabati
kencernaan rumen secara in vitro.
spray drying). Parameter yang diamati meliputi nilai pH, populasi protozoa total,
populasi bakteri total, konsentrasi volatile fatty acid (VFA) total, konsentrasi NH3,
kecernaan bahan kering (KcBK) dan organik (KcBO). Data dianalisis
This study aims to evaluate the effect of supplementation spray drying protected vegetable oil in dairy rations on fermentability and rumen digestibility in vitro. Thisstudy used randomized block design with 3 replications and 4 treatments: P1 (control without treatment), P2 (P1+1% spray drying), P3 (P1+2% spray drying), and P4 (P1+3% spray drying). Parameters observed included pH score, total protozoa population, total bacterial population, total volatile fatty acid (VFA) concentration, NH3 concentration, dry matter digestibility (DMD) and organic matter digestibility (OMD). Data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and significantly different results were tested further with Tukey test using Minitab 18. The results showed significantly different (P<0.05) of supplementation on the total protozoa population, total bacterial population, total VFA concentration, NH3 concentration, DMD, OMD, oil type also significantly influenced in VFA concentration and there is showed interactions results between two factors in NH3 concentartion. Supplementation of of canola oil, soybean oil and palm oil spray drying protected up to a level of 3% resulted in fermentability and digestibility values within the normal range. |
