dc.description.abstract | Penetapan stabilitas agregat tanah dilakukan dengan metode pengayakan kering dan basah. Terdapat dua alat pengayakan kering dan basah yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan Indeks Stabilitas Agregat (ISA) di Laboratorium Konservasi Tanah dan Air yaitu: set ayakan dengan diameter 20,5 cm (ayakan A) dan 15 cm (ayakan B). Masing-masing menggunakan ukuran agregat mulai dari ≤ 7,9 mm dan ≤ 2,83 mm. Perbedaan ukuran diameter agregat tanah yang digunakan dapat menghasilkan indeks stabilitas yang berbeda apabila didasarkan pada kriteria yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan evaluasi pada kedua metoda penetapan dengan menetapkan faktor konversinya dan mengidentifikasi stabilitas agregat berbagai jenis penggunaan lahan pada berbagai jenis tanah. Perbedaan jenis tanah dan penggunaan lahan merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi indeks stabilitas agregat tanah. Pola distribusi rata-rata bobot diameter agregat tanah tidak berbeda hingga ukuran 1 mm. Metode pengayakan B menunjukan ISA yang jauh lebih tinggi dibanding metode pengayakan A. ISA metode pengayakan B 3,3-5,2 kali lebih tinggi dari metode pengayakan A. Faktor konversi dari ISA metode pengayakan B ke A menghasilkan persamaan y = 0,1704x + 13,883 untuk Latosol, y = 0,1583x + 20,493 untuk Regosol, y = 0,2835x + 0,5637 untuk Podsolik, dan persamaan yang berlaku untuk semua jenis tanah dengan nilai y = 0,1888x + 15,299. Nilai ISA tertinggi dijumpai pada Podsolik selanjutnya Latosol dan Regosol terendah. Podsolik dengan penggunaan lahan tegakan bambu memiliki nilai ISA tertinggi, dan yang terendah pada Latosol dengan penggunaan lahan kebun konservasi. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Soil aggregate stability was determined by using dry and wet sieving method. There are two dry and wet sieving devices that can be used to determine the Aggregate Stability Index (ASI), namely: sieve equipment with a diameter of 20.5 cm (sieve A) and 15 cm (sieve B). The soil aggregate size there use are ranging from ≤7.9 mm and ≤2.83 mm. Different sizes of soil aggregate being used in the two methods could produce a different stability index when based on existing criteria. This study aims to evaluate method of soil aggregate stability measurment by setting ASI conversion factor from method B to method A and identify soil aggregate stability in various type land uses and soil types. Different land uses and soil types are the factors that can affect the soil aggregate stability index. The average pattern of soil aggregates distribution is similar up to 1 mm aggregate size. Sieving B method shows a much higher ASI value than sieving A method. The ASI of sieving B is 3,3-5,2 times higher than sieving A method. The conversion factor of sieving B method ASI to sieving A method ASI are y = 0.1704x + 13.883 for Latosol, y = 0.1583x + 20.493 for Regosol, and y = 0.2835x + 0.5637 for Podzolic. The general conversion factor for various types of soil is y = 0.1888x + 15.299. The highest ASI values were found in Podzolic, followed by Latosol and the lowest was Regosol. Podzolic with land use of Bamboo Stands has the highest ASI value, and the lowest is in Latosol with Conservation Agriculture Field land use. | id |
