Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji bahan pakan lokal sumber energi yang diperkaya sehingga memiliki komposisi nutrisi yang setara dengan jagung dalam ransum ayam kampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan 200 ekor DOC ayam KUB yang diberi pakan 4 perlakuan ransum yang memiliki sumber energi yang berbeda. Keempat Perlakuan tersebut terdiri dari: P0(ransum berbasis jagung), P1 (ransum berbasis gaplek), P2(ransum berbasis sorghum), dan P3(ransum berbasis batang pohon sagu). rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 4perlakuan dan 3 ulangan dengan masing masing ulangan terdiri dari 15 ekor. Peubah yang diamati meliputi konsumsi ransum, bobot badan, pertambahan bobot badan, konversi pakan dan mortalitas ayam. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan anova dan uji jarak DUNCAN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh perlakuan subtitusi jagung berbasis gaplek, sorghum dan batang pohon sagu yang diperkaya dalam ransum ayam kampung tidak berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) dibandingkan dengan ransum kontrol berbasis jagung terhadap performans ayam kampung umur satu sampai delapan minggu.
This study aimed to test local feed ingredients as energy sources which were enriched so that they have a nutritional composition equivalent to corn for native chicken chicken rations. This study used 200 DOC native chickens which were fed with 4 ration treatments which had different energy sources. The four treatments consisted of: P0 (corn-based ration), P1 (cassava-based ration), P2 (sorghum-based ration), and P3 (sago stem-based ration). The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications, each replication consisted of 15 chickens. The observed variables included feed consumption, final body weight, body weight gain, feed conversion and mortality. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and the DUNCAN distance test. The results showed that the effect of treatment on cassava, sorghum and sago of the diet based on did not had any significant effect (P<0.05) compared to the diet based corn on the performance of native chickens aged 1-8 weeks.
