Abstract: Nanas Indonesia mempunyai jumlah produksi yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Sebagian besar nanas Indonesia diekspor ke Uni Emirat Arab. Namun, jumlah nanas yang diekspor ke Uni Emirat Arab masih jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan negara pesaingnya, yaitu Filipina. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menganalisis keunggulan komparatif nanas Indonesia di Uni Emirat Arab dan (2) menganalisis keunggulan kompetitif nanas Indonesia di Uni Emirat Arab. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Revealed Comparative Advantage untuk menganalisis keunggulan komparatif nanas di Uni Emirat Arab, metode Export Product Dynamic dan Diamond’s Porter untuk menganalisis keunggulan kompetitif nanas di Uni Emirat Arab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia memiliki keunggulan komparatif di Uni Emirat Arab dengan nilai rata-rata RCA > 1. Nanas Indonesia memiliki keunggulan kompetitif. Nanas Indonesia berada pada posisi pasar Rising Star. Analisis Diamond’s Porter menunjukkan bahwa banyak faktor kelemahan dalam ekspor nanas Indonesia, namun terdapat dua faktor pendukung yang memiliki keunggulan kompetitif, yaitu peran pemerintah dan peran kesempatan
Indonesia’s pineapples have a production that continues to increase every year. Most of Indonesia's pineapples are exported to the United Arab Emirates. However, the amount of pineapple exported to the United Arab Emirates is still much lower than its competitor, the Philippines. This study aims to (1) analyze the comparative advantages of Indonesian pineapples in the United Arab Emirates and (2) analyze the competitive advantages of Indonesian pineapples in the United Arab Emirates. The analytical method used in this study is Revealed Comparative Advantage to analyze the comparative advantage of pineapples in the United Arab Emirates, the Export Product Dynamics, and Diamond's Porter to analyze the competitive advantages of pineapples in the United Arab Emirates. The results showed that Indonesia has a comparative advantage in the United Arab Emirates with an average value of RCA > 1. Indonesian pineapple has a competitive advantage. Indonesian pineapple is in the Rising Star market position. Diamond’s Porter analysis shows that there are many factors of weakness in Indonesia's pineapple exports, but there are two supporting factors that have a competitive advantage, namely the role of government and the role of opportunity.
