Abstract: Kacang Bambara merupakan salah satu jenis legum yang dibudidayakan di Indonesia, dan telah dikembangkan untuk mendapatkan genotipe unggul melalui seleksi galur murni. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi keragaan karakter kuantitatif dan kualitatif galur-galur kacang Bambara asal lanras Sumedang serta untuk memperoleh korelasi antar karakter pada galur-galur tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Cikarawang pada Maret–Juli 2022. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah RKLT dua ulangan dengan 14 galur asal lanras Sumedang, satu galur asal lanras Sukabumi dan satu populasi Sumedang yang belum diseleksi. Satu galur asal Sukabumi telah diseleksi galur murni dan digunakan sebagai pembanding. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, bobot 100 biji berbeda nyata antar galur yang diamati. Nilai koefisien korelasi terbesar terdapat pada korelasi jumlah polong total dengan jumlah polong bernas, dan bobot polong total dengan bobot polong bernas. Tipe tumbuh, bentuk anak daun terminal, bentuk polong, warna polong, tekstur polong serta warna dan corak biji menunjukkan keragaman antara galur uji dengan galur pembanding.
Bambara groundnut has been cultivated in Indonesia and developed to get superior genotypes through pure-line selection. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quantitative and qualitative characters of the lines from Sumedang landrace and to obtain correlations between characters of these lines. This research was conducted at Cikarawang Experimental Field in March–July 2022. The experiment was arranged in RCBD-two replications with 14 lines from Sumedang landrace, one line from Sukabumi landrace and one Sumedang population that has not been selected. One line from Sukabumi has been selected through pure-line selection and used as comparison line. The result showed that plant height, flowering age, and weight of 100 seeds were significantly different among lines. The highest correllations were found on total pod number to total pod weight, and pithy pod number to pithy pod weight. Growth habit, terminal leaf let shape, pod shape, pod colour, pod texture, seed colour, and seed patterns showed variation among test lines and comparison lines.
