Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with excess funds can invest in the capital market to optimize their business capital management. Based on the 2019 Financial Services Authority survey, the financial literacy index for the capital market is low; as a result, interest in investing in the capital market is still low. Besides being influenced by financial literacy, investment interest is also influenced by factors from the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This research aims to identify the level of financial literacy, analyze the factors that influence investment intention, explore the role of financial literacy and evaluate the relationship between financial literacy and investment intention. Influence analysis in this study using SEM-PLS. The study results show that the financial literacy level of MSME actors who fall into the well-literate category is 67%. Interest in investing in the capital market is influenced by attitude toward behavior and financial literacy. Meanwhile, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control do not affect investment intentions. Better financial literacy will affect one's interest in investing.
