| Abstract: | Primates are natural resources that must be preserved due to their important role for the stability of the forest ecosystem and human life. The decreasing of primate populations recently and the increasing of threat level of primates as well causes the need for effort to increase the awareness of the importance of preserving primates. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using educational digital application and increase the awareness of the importance of primates conservation. The methods used in this study included distributing questionnaires to 32 respondents, field observations and literature studies. Data analysis was done using N-Gain score analysis and independent simple t-test analysis. The effectiveness of using digital education applications was in the quite effective category with an N-Gain score of 56,76%. The learning process of conservation education using educational digital application media and books showed the increasing in knowledge which could be seen from the posttest scores which had increased compared to the pretest scores |
