Health insurance is one of the protections during the uncertainty of the covid-19 pandemic. Increase in the accumulated number of health insurance premiums occurred in period May 2020 to May 2021. This study aims to determine what factors influence the interest of the people of Banyumas Regency towards additional health insurance during the Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) pandemic. Reasoned Action Approach theory is the basis for building the model in this research. Meanwhile, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used as the basis of analysis to estimate the coefficients of the causality model between factors. The data used comes from a questionnaire of 130 respondents who are domiciled in Banyumas Regency, aged 18 – 60 years old, and do not have health insurance other than BPJS. The result of this study indicates that the latent variables of percieved behavioral control (PBC) have a significant positive effect on the interest of the people Banyumas towards additional health insurance during the pandemic.
