| dc.description.abstract | The aim of the research was to know effectiveness of supplementation of wild ginseng on growth of male and female mouse (Mus musculus). This research used completely randomized design with four treatments and six replications and used one mouse for each replication. The diet treatments were R1 = control diet (without ginseng), R2 = R1+0.0134% ginseng, R3 = R1+0.026% ginseng and R4 = R1+0.04% ginseng. The parameters measured were, dry matter intake, organic matter intake, crude protein intake, crude fiber intake, body weight gain, feed convertion and mortality. Data were analyzed with analyse of variance (ANOVA) and significant differences were further tested using orthogonal contrast test. The results showed that the treatments did not significantly affect (P>0.05) to dry matter intake, organic matter intake, crude protein intake, body weight gain, feed convertion and mortality except to crude fiber intake (P<0,01) which significantly affected. | id |
