Potensi produksi getah pinus di BKPH Kebasen sebesar 791,35 ton/tahun, dengan produksi getah pinus kerapatan rapat 459,40 ton/tahun, kerapatan sedang 236,22 ton/tahun, dan kerapatan jarang 95,73 ton/tahun.
Pinus merkusii is a dual function tree, namely the producer of wood and sap. BKPH Kebasen is one of the pine company’s class that use pine as a reliable commodity, therefore it is necessary to mapping the potential of pine resin. The potential of pine resin can be identified with the help of remote sensing technology using landsat 8 imagery. The purpose of this study was to map pine stands and estimate the potential of pine resin at BKPH Kebasen KPH Banyumas Timur using landsat 8 imagery. The method used for this study is purposive sampling and supervised classification. The total area of pine forest in BKPH Kebasen as a result of supervised classification is 1.464,47 ha which includes: dense pine forest is 621,36 ha, medium pine forest is 501,65 ha, and pine forest is rare 341,46 ha. The average density of pine stands in the dense class was 509 trees/ha, moderately 325 trees/ha, and rarely 194 trees/ha. The potential production of pine resin at BKPH Kebasen is 791,35 tons/year, with a total production of pine resin with a density of 459,40 tons/year, a medium density 236,22 tons/year, and rare density of 95,73 tons/year.
