Abstract: Kelinci adalah ternak pseudo-ruminansia dengan produktivitas tinggi yang dapat dijadikan sebagai ternak penghasil daging, penghasil fur, atau dijadikan sebagai hewan hias. Kelinci rexsi-agrinak merupakan kelinci hasil pemuliaan kelinci rex yang dilakukan oleh Balai Penelitian Ternak (Balitnak). Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan variabel permukaan tubuh linear yang paling berpengaruh terhadap bobot badan pada kelinci rexsi-agrinak dan satin serta membuat persamaan pendugaan bobot badan melalui analisis regresi komponen utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan 40 ekor kelinci rexsi-agrinak dan 39 ekor kelinci satin. Variabel-variabel yang diukur yaitu lingkar dada (X1), dalam dada (X2), lebar dada (X3), panjang radius ulna (X4), panjang humerus (X5), panjang femur (X6), panjang tibia (X7), panjang punggung (X8), lebar panggul (X9), dan lingkar kanon (X10). Elastisitas digunakan untuk mengukur variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap bobot badan kelinci rexsi-agrinak dan satin. Lingkar dada (X9) merupakan variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap bobot badan kelinci rexsi-agrinak dan satin. Semua variabel yang diamati berpengaruh nyata terdahap bobot badan sehingga persamaan pendugaan bobot badan memasukkan semua variabel.
Rabbits are pseudo-ruminants that have high productivity that can be kept as meat producer, fur producer or ornamental animals. rexsi-agrinak rabbit is the result of rex rabbit breeding by the Indonesian Research for Animal Production, Livestock Research and Development Center, Agricultural Research and Development Agency, Ministry of Agriculture. This study aims to determine the linear body surface variable that has the most influence on body weight in rexsi-agrinak and Satin rabbit breeds also to determine bodyweight estimation equation by using principal component analysis. This study uses 40 rexsi-agrinak rabbits and 39 satin rabbits. Variables measured in this study are chest circumference (X1), chest (X2), chest width (X3), radius ulna length (X4), humerus length (X5), femur length (X6), tibia length (X7), back length (X8), hip width (X9), and canon circumference (X10). Elasticity is used to measure variable that has the most influence on rexsi agrinak and satin rabbits bodyweight. Chest circumference (X9) is the variable that most affects the body weight of rexsi-agrinak and satin rabbits. All the variables have a real impact to bodyweight so that bodyweight estimation equations include all variables.
