Abstract: Payater adalah layanan pinjaman uang tanpa jaminan yang memudahkan penggunanya untuk melakukan pembayaran menggunakan dana talangan dan dapat dibayarkan belakangan. Namun, dibalik kemudahan dan keuntungan yang ditawarkan paylater terdapat risiko yang berpotensi merugikan penggunanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis tingkat literasi keuangan pada generasi milenial, (2) menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan dan persepsi risiko terhadap minat menggunakan paylater, dan (3) menganalisis pengaruh sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap minat menggunakan paylater. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tingkat literasi keuangan generasi milenial di Jabodetabek sebesar 45%, (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap minat menggunakan paylater dan terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan risiko kinerja, risiko waktu, risiko keamanan dan risiko keuangan terhadap sikap penggunaan paylater, sedangkan risiko sosial tidak berpengaruh terhadap sikap penggunaan paylater, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh positif sikap, norma subjektif, dan persepsi kontrol perilaku terhadap minat menggunakan paylater.
Paylater is an unsecured money loan service that makes it easy for users to make payments using bailout funds and can be paid later. However, behind the convenience and benefits offered by paylaters, there are risks that have the potential to harm users. This study aims to (1) analyze the level of financial literacy in the millennial generation, (2) analyze the effect of financial literacy and perceived risk on intention to use paylater, and (3) analyze the effect of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on intention to use paylater. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS analysis. The results show that (1) the level of financial literacy of the millennial generation in Jabodetabek is 45%, (2) there is no effect of financial literacy on the intention to use paylater and there is negative and significant effect of performance risk, time risk, security risk and financial risk on attitudes to using paylater, while social risk has no effect on attitudesto using paylater, and (3) there is positive and significant effect of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on intention to use paylater
