| dc.description.abstract | Esha Flora Plant and Tissue Culture merupakan perusahaan kutur jaringan berskala rumah tangga yang dijalankan atas dasar kekeluargaan dan kebermafaatan bagi banyak orang. Tujuan kegiatan magang ini adalah (1) mengembangkan keterampilan di bidang kultur jaringan, (2) menganalisis manajemen produksi tanaman secara in vitro, dan (3) mengembangkan sistem manajemen data tanaman berbasis aplikasi. Metode pelaksanaan magang yaitu mengikuti secara langsung aktivitas di laboratorium Esha Flora, melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan data sekunder melalui dokumentasi perusahaan maupun studi literatur. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap pemilik dan pegawai laboratorium di Esha Flora. Analisis data mengunakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Aspek yang dikaji dalam kegiatan magang ini adalah aspek teknis, aspek manajerial, dan kajian khusus (manajemen produksi). Kajian aspek teknis dilakukan dengan mengikuti tahapan kultur jaringan yang terdiri atas sterilisasi alat dan bahan, pembuatan dan penyimpanan media, inisiasi dan subkutur, pengamatan dan aklimatisasi. Kultur jaringan membutuhkan keterampilan khusus dalam kegiatannya. Oleh karena itu semakin sering dilakukan, maka akan semakin terampil pula mengerjakannya. Kajian aspek manajerial dilakukan dengan mengamati struktur organisasi hingga manajemen produksi perusahaan. Sebagai perusahaan yang memilki struktur organisasi yang sederhana Esha Flora dipimpin langsung oleh pemilik yang juga sebagai direktur perusahaan. Dalam menjalankan perusahaan, direktur dibantu oleh 9 orang staf dan tenaga ahli kultur jaringan. Hasil analisis proses produksi di Esha flora menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak kesalahan dalam proses pencatatan data produksi yang menyebabkan kerugian perusahaan. Sistem manajemen produksi yang lama tidak efektif karena masih menggunakan cara manual yang sering menyebabkan kerugian perusahaan. Sistem pencatatan manual ini menyebabkan beberapa kerugian seperti hilangnya data dalam proses produksi akibat kontaminasi namun tidak ada follow up yang jelas ke direktur perusahaan sehingga menimbulkan ketidakakuratan data produksi antara pegawai dan perusahaan. Pencatatan data manual juga menyebabkan kerugian finansial karena banyaknya penggunaan alat dan bahan yang tidak tepat guna. Hingga terganggunya kinerja perusahaan akibat pengolahan data yang tidak maksimal. Perubahan sistem manajemen produksi yang baru secara digital akan memudahkan direktur perusahaan dalam menjalankan tugasnya melakukan pengawasan terhadap semua kegiatan di Esha flora termasuk kegiatan proses produksi. Direktur dan pemilik perusahaan akan lebih mudah mendapatkan laporan kegiatan proses produksi untuk mencapai target perusahaan. Potensi kehilangan data kultur juga dapat diminimalisir karena controlling langsung direktur ke pegawai akan lebih ketat sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas perusahaan. Manajemen produksi yang lebih baik juga akan meningkatkan kepercayaan perusahaan di mata konsumen, client, maupun instansi-intansi terkait yang bekerja sama dengan Esha flora. | id |
| dc.description.abstract | Esha Flora Plant and Tissue Culture is a household-scale tissue culture company that run based on kinship and benefits for many people. The objectives of this internship are (1) to develop technical skills in tissue culture, (2) to analyze plant production management in vitro, and (3) to develop an application-based plant data management system. The method of implementing the internship is to follow directly the activities in the Esha Flora laboratory, conduct observations, and interviews, and collect secondary data through company documentation and literature studies. Interviews were conducted with laboratory owners and employees at Esha Flora. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach. The aspects studied in this internship is technical aspects, managerial aspects, and special studies (production management). The study of technical aspects was carried out by following the stages of tissue culture consisting of sterilization of tools and materials, manufacture and storage of media, initiation and subculture, observation, and acclimatization. Tissue culture requires special skills in its activities. Therefore, the more often it is done, the more skilled it will be to do it. The managerial aspect study is carried out by observing the organizational structure of the company's production management. As a company that has a simple organizational structure, Esha Flora is led directly by the owner who is also the director of the company. In running the company, the director is assisted by 9 staff and tissue culture experts. The results of the analysis of the production process at Esha Flora show that there are many errors in the process of recording production data that cause company losses. The old production management system is not effective because it still uses manual methods which often cause company losses. This manual recording system causes several losses such as loss of data in the production process due to contamination but there is no clear follow-up to the director of the company, causing inaccuracies in data between employees and the company. Financial loss due to the use of inappropriate tools and materials. Until the disruption of the company's performance due to data processing that is not optimal. Changes to the new digital production management system will make it easier for company directors to carry out their duties to supervise all activities at Esha flora including production process activities. Directors and company owners will find it easier to get reports on the activities and production process to achieve company targets. The potential loss of culture data can also be minimized because the direct control of directors over employees will be stricter to increase the effectiveness of the company. A better production management system will also increase the company's trust in the eyes of consumers, clients, and related agencies that work with Esha flora. | id |
