Abstract: Rabies merupakan salah satu zoonosis yang disebabkan oleh virus melalui gigitan hewan penular rabies seperti anjing, kucing, dan kera. Sebagian besar wilayah di Indonesia masih endemik rabies, termasuk di Kota Banjarbaru Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sebaran spasial dan temporal dari kasus rabies di Kota Banjarbaru. Penelitian ini menggunakan data laporan surveilans kasus rabies di Balai Veteriner Banjarbaru dan DKP3 Banjarbaru selama periode tahun 2015-2019. Data sebaran kasus dianalisis secara spasial dan temporal untuk melihat distribusi penyakit dalam incidene rate menggunakan Microsoft Excel dan peta penyebaran kasus yang dibuat menggunakan Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kasus rabies di Kota Banjarbaru terjadi pada setiap kecamatan. Kejadian kasus positif rabies paling tinggi terjadi di Kecamatan Banjarbaru Utara dengan laju insidensi sebesar 27 kasus per 100 000 ekor-tahun. Wilayah yang tergolong ke dalam kejadian kasus tinggi yaitu, Kecamatan Banjarbaru Utara dan Banjarbaru Selatan. Tindakan pengendaliannya perlu ditingkatkan terhadap wilayah dengan kejadian kasus tinggi dan sedang.
Rabies is a zoonosis caused by a virus through bites by animals transmitting rabies such as dogs, cats, and monkeys. Most regions in Indonesia are still endemic to rabies, including Banjarbaru City Province South Borneo. This study aimed to analyze the spatial and temporal rabies cases in Banjarbaru City. The study was conducted on data on surveillance reports of rabies cases at the Veterinary Center Banjarbaru and DKP3 Banjarbaru during the period 2015-2019. Case distribution data were analyzed spatially and temporally to see the distribution of disease in incidence rates using Microsoft Excel and case distribution maps created using the Quantum Geographic Information System (QGIS). The results of this study indicate that rabies cases in Banjarbaru City occur in every sub-district. The highest incidence rate of positive rabies cases occurred in sub-district Banjarbaru Utara with an incidence rate of 27 cases per 100 000 tails-year. Region classified as high case are Banjarbaru Utara and Banjarbaru Selatan. Control measures need to be increased for the region with high and medium case
