The development of self-healing concrete is carried out to repair cracks and reduce maintenance costs. However, the experiment requires a lot of variation of each parameter thus increasing the cost of the experiment. The Taguchi method is used in experimental design to obtain optimal parameter variations as well as reduce experiment costs. The stages of this study are the collection of secondary data on compressive strength improvement, testing of the Taguchi method, determination of contribution parameters using ANOVA, and the developed estimation model. The Taguchi method produces the optimal variety, which is the type of bacteria is Bacillus subtilis bacteria, bacterial concentrations of 105 cells/mL, application of bacteria by encapsulation, and curing time of 28 days. The concentration of bacteria has a very significant value with contributions of 82.94%, 78.90%, and 74.36% respectively in the analysis of parameters 2, 3, and 4. The smallest error value was obtained in the analysis of the experiment of 3 parameters with a value of 2.99%. Self-healing concrete modeling obtained two equations consisting of direct mixing and encapsulation which have coefficients of determination of 0.89 and 0.82.
