Abstract: Bali cattle are Indonesian native cattle that have been domesticated from Banteng (Bos Banteng). Bali cattle have a better reproductive ability in the tropics compared to exotic cattle such as Simmental cattle and Limousine cattle. This study aimed to analyze the characteristics and quality of cement of Bali cattle and Jaliteng cattle (Banteng Cross). This study used secondary data from Balai Besar Inseminasi Buatan Singosari, Malang, East Java with a total of 1170 data consisting of 1 Jaliteng cattle with 27 ejaculations, and 33 Bali cattle with 9-47 ejaculations (an average of 35 ejaculations) for one year. Variable data for each breed of cattle were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Based on the results of the study, it was found that Bali cattle and Jaliteng cattle at BBIB Singosari had significantly different characteristics and cement quality and that crossing between Bali and Banteng cattle has an impact on the decline in sperm in Bali cattle. The results of this study showed that the cement of Bali cattle and Jaliteng cattle had good characteristics and quality and met the eligibility standards to be processed and distributed either into liquid cement or frozen cement for artificial insemination programs.
