| Abstract: | Fungi merupakan salah satu mikroorganisme yang memiliki peran penting
dalam ekologi. Sebagian besar serangan penyakit pada tanaman disebabkan oleh
fungi. Serangan penyakit dapat mengakibatkan kerugian yang cukup besar.
Pengendalian yang sering dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan fungisida sintetik.
Penggunaannya secara berlebihan mengakibatkan berbagai masalah bagi
lingkungan dan kesehatan. Alternatif fungisida yang lebih ramah lingkungan
diperlukan untuk mengurangi dampak tersebut. Minyak atsiri dipercaya mampu
menjadi sumber biofungisida karena memiliki sifat antifungi. Telah banyak
penelitian yang membuktikan kemampuan minyak atisiri dalam menghambat
pertumbuhan fungi patogen. Data tersebut akan menarik jika dianalisis
menggunakan meta-analisis.
Pengumpulan jurnal sebagai sumber data dilakukan dengan mencari sumber
jurnal pada online database. Kata kunci yang digunakan adalah essential oil against
phytopathogen dan essential oil for fungicides. Data yang diekstrak antara lain
jumlah sampel, standard deviation (SD), dan nilai rataan baik pada perlakuan
maupun kontrol, serta informasi lain yang terdapat di dalam jurnal tersebut.
Kumpulan data tersebut akan dianalisis menggunakan software OpenMEE dan
JASP 0.14.1.0. Analisis yang digunakan antar lain standar meta-analisis, subgrup
analisis, dan metaregresi. Perhitungan effect size menggunakan Standarized Mean
Difference.
Berdasarkan penelusuran terdapat 31 artikel dan menghasilkan 312 data yang
dapat dianalisis dengan meta-analisis. Ditemukan sebanyak 82 jenis minyak atsiri
dan 16 jenis fungi patogen. Studi tersebut memiliki konsentrasi yang beragam.
Hasil perhitungan parameter daya hambat dari seluruh data pada selang
kepercayaan 95% menunjukkan nilai (SMD: 50.428, 95% CI: 46.514- 54.343, P
<0.001). Uji heterogenitas (I2
) menunjukkan nilai 99.994%, artinya masuk ke dalam
kategori heterogenitas tinggi sehingga dilakukan subgrup analisis. Terdapat 15 grup
famili minyak atsiri dan 9 grup genus patogen yang berhasil dikelompokkan. Nilai
I
2 pada analisis subgrup tetap tergolong tinggi. Hal ini menandakan bahwa
perbedaan famili atau jenis minyak atsiri dan genus atau jenis patogen tidak
memengaruhi tingkat heterogenitasnya. Hasil meta-regresi menunjukkan variabel
konsentrasi berhubungan positif dengan effect size dengan rumus regresi y=46.423
+ 0.002x secara signifikan (p-value <0.001). Artinya dengan peningkatan
konsentrasi minyak atsiri tiap 1 ppm, akan meningkatkan 0.002% daya hambatnya.
Hasil dari meta-analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa funnel plot dapat dikatakan
simetris namun titik berada di luar funnel tersebut. Minyak atsiri yang menembus
membran dapat mengkoagulasi sitoplasma, merusak lemak dan protein. Fungi are one of the microorganisms that have an important role in ecology. Most disease attacks on plants are caused by fungi. Disease attacks can result in considerable losses. The most common control is to use synthetic functions. Its excessive use causes a variety of problems for the environment and health. More environmentally friendly fungicides alternatives are needed to mitigate these impacts. Essential oils are believed to be a source of biofungicides because it has antifungal properties. There have been many studies that prove the ability of essential oil in inhibiting the growth of pathogenic fungi. The data will be interesting if analyzed using meta-analysis. Collection of journals as data sources is done by searching the journal source on the online database. The keywords used are essential oil against phytopathogen and essential oil for fungicides. The extracted data include the number of samples, SD, and average values in both treatment and control, as well as other information contained in the journal. The data set will be analyzed using OpenMEE and JASP 0.14.1.0 software. Analysis used among others standard meta-analysis, subgroup analysis, and meta-regression. Calculation of effect size using Standardized Mean Difference. Based on the search there are 31 articles and 312 data that can be analyzed with meta-analysis. Found as many as 82 types of essential oils and 16 types of pathogenic fungi. The study had a diverse concentration. The result of calculating the tasteless power parameter of all data on the 95% trust hose shows a value (SMD: 50.428, 95% CI: 46.514- 54.343, P <0.001). The heterogeneity test (I2 ) showed a value of 99.994%, meaning it falls into the category of high heterogeneity so that the analysis subgroup is carried out. There are 15 essential oil family groups and 9 pathogenic genus groups that are successfully grouped. The value of I2 in subgroup analysis remains relatively high. This indicates that differences in family or type of essential oil and genus or type of pathogen do not affect their heterogeneity level. The meta-regression result shows the concentration variable is positively related to the effect size with the regression formula y=46.423 + 0.002x significantly (p-value <0.001). This means that by increasing the concentration of essential oils every 1 ppm, it will increase by 0.002% of its inhibition. The results of this meta-analysis show that the funnel plot can be said to be symmetrical but the point is outside the funnel. Essential oils that penetrate the membrane can regulate the cytoplasm, damaging fats and proteins. |
