Before participating, there is an intensity or tendency to participate as a form of motivation to behave. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework, the shaping factors in behaving include attitudes, subjective norms, and perceptions of behavioral control (PBC). Therefore, the objectives of this study were to determine: (1) intention of participate; (2) factors related with intention of participate based of the Theory of Planned Behavior; and (3) the intention of participate with the level of participation. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach through a survey of 32 members of the farmer group Sahabat Griya Soka Bogor Raya (GSBR) and supported by qualitative data. Data analysis in this study used the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that there was a correlation between the intention of participation and participation of 0.55 (p=0.001). This shows that the intention of participate had a strong correlation with participation. Only subjective norm and PBC were factors correlated with the intention of participation, while attitude was not related. Keywords: Intention to Participate, Participation, Yard Utilization Program
