dc.description.abstract | Moringa oleifera (kelor) merupakan tanaman obat yang banyak digunakan untuk mengobati berbagai penyakit, salah satunya memiliki potensi sebagai hipokolesterolemik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dari Moringa oleifera sebagai penurun kadar kolesterol telur puyuh dan mengidentifikasi kandungan fitokimianya. Berdasarkan uji fitokimia, teridentifikasi 84 senyawa pada Moringa oleifera yang tergolong dalam kelompok alkaloid, flavonoid, glikosida, asam organik, dan steroid. Senyawa fitokimia tersebut mampu menghambat pembentukan kolesterol pada metabolisme burung puyuh sehingga dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol pada telur puyuh. Semakin banyak penambahan Moringa oleifera pada ransum maka kadar kolesterol pada telur puyuh semakin berkurang. | id |
dc.description.abstract | Moringa oleifera, known as kelor is a medicinal plant that is widely used for treating various diseases, one of its potential is hypocholesterolemic. The aim of this study is to determine the potential of Moringa oleifera as hypocholesterolemic in quail eggs and identification of the phytochemical content in Moringa oleifera. 84 phytochemical compounds are identified in Moringa oleifera, belonging to the group of alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, organic acids, and steroids. These compounds can inhibit the formation of cholesterol in quail metabolism so as to reduce cholesterol levels in quail eggs. The more addition of Moringa oleifera to the ration, the cholesterol level in quail eggs decreases. | id |
